Of the clinics offering services in San Francisco, Fort Help is by far the most compassionate, decent, caring and effective clinic. The BAART clinics are like neo-nazi prison enterprises, where they let you know with unmistakable body language and attitudes that you are a piece of shit and that fact that you got snagged by heroin shows how lame you are. Fortunately, Fort Help has nothing like that going on, and I'm sure for some of the clients, it's the only time each day where they are treated with respect. Fort Help has changed a little since the policy update where they now accept Medical patients, which has led to longer lines and more of, how shall we say, a not upscale clientele. But that's OK, they are just like me and you, and if you dig a little you may find they come from much better backgrounds than many of us. Anyway, Fort Help is great and has helped me on several occasions avoid suicide and allowed me to hold down a steady well-paying job where no-one even suspects I am/was a drug addict. Thank you.
