To be totally honest I have to say at this time that I was not going to write anything down in this area. I just decided to look over this website and leave it as that. But I had stopped and thought a moment then decided that what I had to say needed to be heard. Maybe what I had to say will give hope to someone out there looking for help to find the right direction. People can say what they want about places like this but as for myself Parkside has saved my life. I really don't know what would have became of me! Before I found Parkside my everyday existence consisted of a never ending seek and find mission to feed my Opiate addiction which made my life as well as my family's lives a repetitive horrible nightmare! I truly hated what I had become! I so badly wanted to kick my addiction but I didn't know how or where to go to get the help I needed. That was until someone told me about Parkside Recovery. To make a long story short I was admitted into their outpatient program on 01-17-06 and to this day (over 3 1/2 years later) I'm extremely pleased to say I have been 100 % drug and alcohol free since coming through their front doors! My life is great again...I thank everyone at Parkside and BHSI for that!! I do strongly recommend anyone with an addiction problem to look into the programs offered here. The entire staff treats everyone with respect-no one will judge you or look down on you because of your sickness. THERE IS HOPE THERE IS HELP IF YOU WANT IT. A DRUG FREE LIFE IS WITHIN YOUR REACH! GO FOR IT! I am so glad I did.
